Her work is informed by an international life and a sustained attention to the atmosphere of place. Her practice reflects an interest in how architecture, landscape, and cultural environments carry memory, identity, and feeling.
Returning to Canada sharpened this sensibility, deepening her engagement with the visual language of civic landmarks, institutional spaces, and the distinct landscapes of Canada. The result is work that feels intimate, refined, and quietly resonant.

Approach
Jessica works primarily in watercolor, using a loose, observational hand to translate architecture, landscape, and cultural setting into images with atmosphere and clarity. Her compositions are shaped by memory, place, and the emotional character of an environment.
Soft in palette and understated in tone, the work is attentive to the details that give a place its identity. The result is imagery that feels intimate, elegant, and quietly enduring.
